WELCOME TO SKIPWITH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PTA!
The PTA exists to make every child’s potential a reality by encouraging parent, teacher and community involvement at Skipwith and to improve our school by funding and supporting programs that encourage learning and involvement.
The PTA this year is planning a Music and Art Appreciation Night, International Night, Talent Show and a Science Fair. We will also have Spirit Nights at Cicis Pizza, Chipotle, Chuck E. Cheese, McDonald's, and more. All of these activities are designed to bring students, teachers and parents together outside of school hours. We, as a PTA, also purchased agenda books for the students, provided funding for new fencing and smart boards for each classroom, and continue to award $2,000 in college scholarships to former Skipwith students. We are looking into some needed resources that will really benefit our students this year and for the years to come. These are just a few of the ways we support the school.
This is just a small snapshot of the exciting year we have planned and we are looking forward to seeing you at one of our next events! Thank you for your support!
